Jesus didn’t say “Blessed are the people who go to church every week” or “blessed are the people who make life miserable for other people” or even “blessed are the people who seem to have it all sorted”. The important list is the one that covers the people who know they’re messed up, who are hurting, who aren’t looking like the main character, who want the world to be fair and want justice, who won’t go after revenge, who go after real peace… if that’s you, you’re the people Jesus chose to bless…
